We are thrilled to announce that Andrew Wraight has taken the helm and has been appointed as our New Managing Director. Andrew started with us in 2011 when we were appointed as the new Managing Agents of Idlewells Shopping Centre in Sutton-in-Ashfield. His extensive experience in both retail and Facilities Management (FM) resulted in a promotion to Head of FM – there were just 18 in the team at that time.

Andrew was then responsible for the development of structured training programmes, combining all areas of the business. The team began to grow with Andrew mentoring and coaching more junior colleagues.

In 2014, Andrew was promoted to a Director on our Board, requiring him to work closely with key clients including Helical, Clearbell, Ellandi and Paloma Capital. Developing these strong relationships has made him influential in our business and has enabled him to progress his career to Managing Director. Richard Phillips, who co-founded Ashdown Phillips in 2004, now hands over to Andrew. Richard will continue to be a key part of our company and moves into his new role as Chairman. He will support Andrew and our Board of Directors to ensure the business continues to thrive.

Over the last three years, we have had significant growth – both financially and geographically, with turnover increasing by 50% and the management of 140 properties across the UK.

“I have the privilege of being the successor of someone I greatly admire and respect. I am proud of Ashdown Phillips, its achievements and its ethos and feel very lucky to have such an amazing team around me," said Andrew.
